90X on Johnson Rods
I’m running 1-1/2” Johnson Rods with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT in LT275/60R20. Very comfortable on and off road, no rubbing and the tires are quieter than BFG KO2’s.

Check out these wheels for your new Defender. They have a 15 offset for a wide aggressive stance and have simulated beadlocks for a great off road look. There are other color and spoke options available. Navigate to the Land Rover Wheels page to see more pictures and options. Our 1.5 inch Defender Lift Lit is a great choice to pair with these wheels.
The 1.5 inch lifting rods are 2 different sizes.
Are the long ones for the front and short ones for the back? If I hold the short ones next to the front ones, they are similar lengths.
Thanks
I am expecting delivery of a 23MY Defender March/April. It's not a build I built but rather one that came available and I was able to jump on it.
I am concerned about the 22" rims as I want to be able to go off road - nothing drastic but slippery mud very likely and smaller rocks etc. Also, we have lots of prickly pear around which you can't always avoid driving over.
I have been in negotiations with dealership on swapping out the 22" for 20" rims which has been a difficult conversation as I feel it would give me more options.
But, I have found some all terrain tires that are 275/45r22 which I assume would work - I know not ideal as more sidewall is better but I am not looking for rock crawling or even extreme overloading - we live on the property and love to…
Thanks for feedback - it looks good. I am hoping to hear from dealer any day now that car has arrived - such strange times we live in.
Thanks for clarification on that. I'll be putting them in this weekend as I'm getting a tyre rotation and alignment as well.
I'm currently running the Maxxis Razor MT tyres 275 x 65 x 18 (D250) which are awesome.
Thanks
